Strategic Plan 2017

Canoeing Ireland is holding a consultation with its members on our draft Strategic Plan 2017-2020 – 2020 Vision for Canoeing. The draft plan sets out an overall strategy to develop our sport over the coming four years and will form the basis for the development and implementation of annual operational programmes over this period by the Board and technical committees. As the National Governing Body for the sport of canoeing we have had many successes in recent times but also our fair share of setbacks. This draft plan sets out the way forward for our sport into the future and it is important to get feedback from our members which will influence its final shape and content.

CaraFocus National Newsletter

Inclusion and accessibility are going to be key focuses of Canoeing Ireland in the coming year. After attending the National Conference for Inclusion 2016 last week the staff at Canoeing Ireland were impressed by all of the speakers and the challenges many of them have overcome to participate in a wide range of activities. We look forward to being able to provide opportunities to many more participants in canoe sport in 2017. Check out the CaraFocus Newsletter for inspiration and information on what is possible in adventure sports for all participants.
