Liffey Centre Club

The Liffey Centre Kayak Club is a bridging club which aims to provide further opportunities for novice paddlers to continue their participation in canoesport. It also aims to offer members further training opportunities to progress their kayaking skills.

Membership
Is open to adult participants of Introductory Training Courses organised by the Canoe Union who have successfully completed a Level 2 Kayak Skills Assessment. It is also open to any other adult who holds the Level 2 Kayak Skills award

Costs
Membership fee for the year  is €30. This is to offset administrative costs such as phone calls, postage , use of Training Centre faciliities , insurance and also  includes registration with the Canoe Union up to the end September 2011

In addition there will be a €20 trip subscription to cover the cost of the use of Training Centre equipment and instructor’s travelling expenses.
 
Activities/Trips
The club will endeavour to organise two trips per month at weekends up to the end of March  2011 . The location and type of trip will depend on circumstances such as numbers, overall experience of groups, water levels, etc. Club members will be notified well in advance of trips.
