Welcome Paddlers,

Canoeing Ireland would like to let you know about a special event happening in the Clare/Limerick area on the 17/18th August 2019. We would like to ask you to join us on a weekend of ‘Wellness on the Water’.

With special thanks to Shannon Paddlers and Brid O’Connell for their expertise and input into the initiative ‘Wellness on the Water’. Whose drive are helping to take Wellness on the water from Local to National consciousness.

This is a Paddlesports inclusive event meaning all crafts are welcome as long as you are certified to use it. We recommend that you are at minimum Level 2 Skills certified or have a qualified instructor with you. If a group or club wishes to bring novices on this event, they must bring a valid instructor to look after the group.

The event will start at UL kayak Club in University Limerick Campus – https://goo.gl/maps/WRASc7yLCJMY5MGt7. We will set up a shuttle from there and coordinate items needed for overnight camp to those who are participating and staying the full weekend.

There are 40 spaces in the Castleconnell Scout Campsite. It will be a first come first serve for the campsite which you can do by google form: https://forms.gle/3ZDVdwocLAS6wAHn6

*There are campsites and B&Bs close by if you wish to get a bed for the night. This is an adult only event.

The event will cost you €10.00 per head:
