Teen Connect is now part of the Sport Ireland Her Moves programme. Teen Connect has for the last 2 years been creating a community of young girls in paddlesports to allow them to grow in sport, on and off the water. Started as part of the Bridge the Gap initiative, Teen Connect is continuing to inspire teenage girls to take up paddlesports, make new connections and get active.
The Her Moves programme was launched earlier this year by Sport Ireland to inspire and support more teenage girls to be active. It’s about empowering all young women, building confidence and providing motivation to find something that gets you moving. This is a community for all teenage girls to join and ‘FIND SOMETHING THAT MOVES YOU!’
Teen Connect being chosen to be a part of the Her Moves programme is a massive boost to the initiative, both for its recognition of the excellent work done by the Teen Connect team since 2021, and to help get more teenage girls out and enjoying the incredible experiences which can be found on the water.
