After a very successful 63rd AGM of Canoeing Ireland we are very pleased to welcome the new President of the organisation, Heather Wilson. Heather is Canoeing Irelands National Childrens Officer and has been an incredible support to the organisation as an expert in the area of safeguarding, and in offering her expertise in an wide range of projects. Heather will succeed Lynda Byrne, Canoeing Ireland’s first ever female president.
Also being welcomed to the board of Canoeing Ireland are –

Colette Lawlor. Education and Training Director
Pat Hickey. Membership and Clubs Director
James O’Connor will return to the board in the new position of High Performance Pathway Rep.
